I met Jan a few months when he came to my open art studio at The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts. He invited me out for a burger and I invited him out for this photo. He is an artist and student from Amsterdam studying for a semester at SUNY Purchase. Be sure to check out his art. He may seem like just a painter, but he is more than meets the eye.
